Xiph.org Directshow Filters

The main goal of this project is to offer the most comprehensive support for Xiph.org codecs on Windows and DirectShow. This package covers everything you need, including tools to decode and encode all Xiph.org formats, including Annodex.

Some of the prominent codecs developed by Xiph.org include:

Vorbis: Vorbis is an open-source audio compression codec. It was designed to provide high-quality audio at lower bitrates. It’s often used for streaming audio and is considered a free alternative to proprietary codecs like MP3.
